 ブランド企業であるラルフ・ローレンの創業者であるラルフ・ローレン(本名ラルフ・ルーベン・リフシッツ; Ralph Rueben Lifshitz)が現在所有している一台。1968年に所有していたStephen Mitchellのブログによるとこの一台は2011年のパリでの展示以外は生涯アメリカにあったとしている。
 イギリス人のAlain de Cadenetが1971年に所有していたが、Alainはこれ以外にもc/n: 3505GT, 3767GT, 3909GTを所有しており、当時はレースを楽しむと共に投機対象として扱っていた。

A 250 GTO for 1,500 Pounds?
   “I had already switched to racing in classic cars early on, for the simple reason that it was much cheaper,” says the Englishman, explaining his abiding passion for classic cars. “You need to realize that back then, in the late 1960s/early 70s, a 1930s Alfa 8C cost less than a new Spider. Obviously I too would have liked a Spider, à la Dustin Hoffmann in “The Graduate,” but the things were simply too expensive. And too slow.” By now, Alain has become unstoppable: “I also did it because I could earn money that way. It was about buying a fast car so I could drive in a few races – and then sell the thing before it packed up. I have no idea how many Ferrari 250 GTOs I owned in those years; there must have been about six of them, but I sold every one of them in order to buy myself another new toy. I bought them for 1,500 pounds, and I was once able to sell one of them for 3,000 pounds – so that was quite a good deal.”
